Wetlands Unpreserved.

Laight Street, TriBeCa.

Wetlands Preserve was a great if hippy-polluted live music venue in TriBeCa that opened at the dawn of the 90's. At first, it only played host to up and coming hippy jam bands like the Spin Doctors and Phish, but it later opened its doors to a wide range of acts. I saw everyone from Fishbone through the Damage Manual here. Oasis even played here once. But, it's gone now, sadly. The space is now occupied by an overpriced furniture merchant. Yeah, we needed that, didn't we.
