Again, this is something that probably won't matter that much to a lot of people, but this little broken neon sign is all the remains of Second Coming Records. At first, it was just a little, slightly smelly record shop with a staggeringly cool selection of LP's, cool posters (stapled to the ceiling) and a huge collection of casstte bootlegs (illegal live recordings). They were eventually busted for the latter, but not closed down. They even expanded their operation to the space next door during the advent of compact discs. Rents increased, however, and many record collectors turned to the internet (specifically eBay) to get their goodies, so Second Coming was forced to shut its doors. Their two spaces are now occupied by a shoddy Mexican restaurant and a tatooo parlor, with this sad little sign still perched between them.
