Lot between Broadway & Mercer Streets

This little span between Broadway and Mercer Streets used to act as both car park and a flea market space. It may have also been the former site of the fabled Mercer Arts Center (erstwhile home of proto-Punks like the New York Dolls and Sucicide) that literally imploded sometime in the mid-70's. If not, it was down the street a piece. In any event, who knows what they're planning for this space. Probably a Jamba Juice or a Benetton or something. Ugh.
