Former Spot of "The Liquor Store"
235 West Broadway at White Street
Not exactly a landmark, but this space used to house a great bar called The Liquor Store, which featured outdoor seating and was a refreshing break from the norm. I remember going after a friend's birthday party only a few nights before September 11, 2001. From its front door (pictured above), it used to look directly at the WTC.
