Never knew there was a proper “video” for this (although I’m sure no one called it that in 1970), but here’s the great Curtis Mayfield’s artful clip for “(Don't Worry) If There's a Hell Below, We're All Going to Go,” filmed around the gritty New York City of the era.
Fifty-five years after this song’s release, the conditions Curtis was lamenting still hold sway, making it rather depressingly timely.
