I haven't watched it just yet, but out of the proverbial blue, there's a new documentary about Dread Zeppelin, a band I've spoken about here a few times (most recently here).
There are a couple of pending rock docs out there I'm itching to see, specifically "Born Innocent" about Redd Kross and "I Should Have Been Dead Years Ago" about Stuart "Stu Spasm" Gray of Lubricated Goat and the Art Gray Noizz Quintet. Those have both proven difficult to see, as yet (although "Born Innocent" is playing at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, later this month). The happy news in this instance, however, is that "Dread Zeppelin: A Song of Hope" is already on YouTube!!! A tip of the hat to my buddy Erik H. for this.
Start your new year off right....
