Originally, I wasn’t going to post this, as I just did a vintage Cop Shoot Cop post the other day, but there’s this 15-year-old kid in Finland named Peeter who keeps posting archival Cop Shoot Cop stuff on YouTube. Of course, I’m all for it, but realize that all of you might not harbor quite the same amount of enthusiasm for it that I do.
In any case, I was going to let this one go, but just noticed, via the Instagram of producer Martin Bisi, that the performance presented in the video below was evidently captured thirty (!!!) years ago this month. That’s as good a reason as any, in my book.
This is the set that was released on DVD a few years back, featuring Cop Shoot Cop raising up ruckus in Martin Bisi’s fabled Gowanus recording studio, BC Studios (discussed here).
If you never had the opportunity to see that, please enjoy.
