Emerald City was actually on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. In the 1960s and 70s, it was the Latin Casino- one of the biggest nightspots on the East Coast. All the big names at the time played there- Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Sammy Davis Jr., Don Rickles. Jackie Wilson suffered a stroke on stage there.
