Robert Smith ... Prophet?

Along with it being Iggy Pop's birthday, yesterday was also the birthday of the estimable Robert Smith of The Cure, which reminded me of the below.

I've posted this video before, but revisited it recently, and was struck by something. Let's watch again...

Beyond it being simply an amazing, rocking clip 

1. The lyrics (below) basically mirror current events.
2. The name of the band is THE CURE (duh)
3. Robert's introductory flourish, saying "this is about any country you choose to live in." (i.e. this condition is everywhere).
