How's everybody doing? I don't have much to report. Staying indoors. Sheltering in place. Working remotely. Trying to stay sane.
The bottom line seems to have moved, a bit, on the face mask front. First, we were told not to wear them, as they wouldn't protect anyone. Then, we were told they should first go to medical professionals and first responders -- this made perfect sense. Now the directive is sort of a "smoke'em if ya got'em" edict about how they might help prevent the spread. Personally speaking, even if I wanted a proper face mask, I wouldn't begin to know where to procure one, at this stage. Like hand sanitizer and toilet paper, they've been inaccessible for weeks and weeks. One is left to improvise, I guess.
For no readily apparent reason, here's a bit of vintage Cop Shoot Cop, their first Peel Session from 1991, featuring some snippets from Peel himself.
Be good. Stay at home. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Get through this.
