Gabba Gabba Gone for Good

I can't say what prompted its rather brusque, indelicate removal, but --- following up on a post from last December -- it seems the demolition of street-art mosaicist Space Invader's homage to the Ramones on Thompson Street between Broome & Grand has come to its stark fruition -- which, frankly, broke my heart a little bit.
