« "A Place to Dream?" Redux: The High Line ... Ten Years Later | Main | Goodbye, Hell's Angels »

February 21, 2019

Slick move, but unintentional? Seems like a Costanza move:

I went to Sidewalk for brunch plenty of times in the '90s and the aughts. Cheapest place around. Good times.

And Justine Frischmann of Elastica was a hottie. She threw a rose into the crowd during Lollapalooza on Randalls Island, and me and another guy both caught it. Massive tug-of-war ensued, destroying the rose.

Who Cares?

Quite honestly, I could give a flying fuck that this place is closing then changing hands.

It never supported NYHC/hardcore punk in general, metal, indie rock, hip hop etc. so whatever. Spare me they were a sitdown joint when they could've had standing room stuff c'mon.
