Rocks in Your Bag

Hey there, all.

Hard to believe we’re already this deep into the summer. My kids are out of camp by the end of next week, for cryin’ out loud. Where does the time go?

In any case, it’s a busy period, so I apologize for the gaps in posting. There’s always stuff on the way, it’s just a matter of finding the time to post it. Please don’t give up hope.

Just a quickie. The image below was posted on a Facebook group I’ve basically been besieging with old Flaming Pablum content, that being NYC Independent Records Shops of the 70’s – 90’s & The Collectors That Loved Them. Uploaded by one Thomas R., I can’t say I remember ever seeing this image before, despite it being from one of my very favorite shops, Rocks in Your Head on Prince Street.

I assume this is from a bag, no? Otherwise an ad? A t-shirt? Regardless…

Today, as has doubtlessly been pointed out many times, the space Rocks in Your Head occupied at 157 Prince Street in SoHo is now the office of a real estate agency.
