Because Facebook is ultimately weird and creepy, in the wake of my post about Lars Ulrich routinely wearing t-shirts that extoll the merits of long-vanished West 8th Street rock emporium & record store, It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll, it suddenly started recommending that I like the fan page of one Marc Zakarin, the shop’s former owner (who still operates the business online) and erstwhile stand-up comic.
Curiosity piqued, I duly clicked on through, finding not only several more pics of Lars in myriad variations of that shirt, but also -– huzzah –- some great, albeit old and grainy shots of the shop's interior. Being that it’s a public facing page, I’m taking the liberty of sharing them here, but find more right on Marc’s page, and be sure to check out the official It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll Page here.
One of the more impressive things about IORR was the sheer volume of STUFF they were able to squeeze into that space, as these pictures handily demonstrate.
