RIP Tommy.

Now they're all gone, it's hard to imagine. At the same time The Ramones seem to be one example of some kind of supernatural entity that was put on earth for a purpose at a certain place and time. Once their statement was made and their job done, they were called back to wherever it was they came from.

Back in the day it seemed like The Ramones were playing live in the city every other month. I took that for granted and never had any urgency to get out and see them. I didn't have much concert money at that time so I guess that was the reason. Thankfully I got to see them one time only at Roseland in 1992. Not the vintage Ramones..Dee Dee was long out of the band. But any Ramones in person is better than no Ramones at all.

BTW, welcome back Alex.
