There have been an awful lot of timelapse clips featuring NYC, and I'm guilty of posting quite a few of them here. Not sure what I'm looking for with these -- do I expect to catch a glimpse of myself or someone I know crossing a street or something?
Anyway, here's the latest, which I spotted on the Huffington Post site last week. There are the usual cliches, like the evocatively poignant new age techno soundtrack and the requisite bird's eye view of iconic streets, but there are little touches in this one that I like, like the segment featuring the silver Andy Warhol statue at the northwest corner of Union Square. And I think the mass yoga class in Bryant Park is well done.
Overalll, I'd suggest that the human element is better represented in this one, rather than depicting the city as just a teeming ant heap. Check it out.
