It's been a busy, sweaty, stressy week, and I've wanted to put up more here, but time and circumstances and demands and complications have forbid it. But I spotted this photo on the excellent Tumblr site, Retro World and felt compelled to share it. Allegedly snapped circa 1945, this photograph displays a carefree, young couple indulging their love of recorded music sometime after midnight in our own Washington Square Park. Put simply, this picture just makes me happy.
