Great piece, Alex! There are some really cool posters in that collection but your Venom one is indeed the best of the bunch.

I worked for Williamson since day 1 at Jane street. Managed Irving Plaza when we were there. And I'm the guy responsible for postering the hell out of St Marks place. Once got busted for illegal advertising...not to mention selling booze w/o a license. Heh, I had to work my way through college. I have the full collection of posters, but they're 12,000 miles away. The glory years

Awesome post! We just got in the same Rock Hotel shirt as in the photo at our vintage store. Check it out on Instagram @friendsvintage

I vaguely remember shows at a midtown hotel on 43rd St. Diplomat Hotel? Any info on any of those shows

Bernie Rosenbloom, I want those posters!! Please contact me [email protected]

Bernie Rosenbloom! I wrote the incorrect email. It's [email protected]

I was the guy who put up the flyers.

Joly MacFie

It was me made and sold the shirts. Do I have any now? No way!

I think that I went to one show there, on 43rd street, in '88. It's kind of hazy. BTW, does anyone remember the New Years Eve show at the Rock Hotel, 1985? I'd love to see a flyer!
