If These Streets Could Talk ...

Yes, I know -- the world needs another book about how cool late 70's NYC was like Manhattan needs another bank, but this one does look pretty cool -- and, as we all know by now, I'm a complete sucker for this sorta stuff. "Love Goes to Buildings on Fire" by Will Hermes puts a magnifying glass over the New York City of 1973 through 1977, and slavishly documents every bit of cool minutia (down to specific street addresses) in loving detail.
