Not The Suburbs

It took me a mighty long time to come around to the Arcade Fire, but I must now admit that I don’t entirely hate a couple of their songs (notably “No Cars Go” and the title track to The Suburbs, although “Wake Up” still makes me want to bludgeon someone repeatedly with a cello). They’re now kinda a big deal (so much so that people now make videos like this). This post isn’t really about them, though. I just stumbled upon this striking gig poster of theirs (found whilst perusing around -- wait for it --- gigposters.com) and thought it was frankly rather lovely. If I owned this, I’d slap it a frame and throw that fucker up on my wall.
