While I do devote a decent-sized swathe of Flaming Pablum to documenting my misadventures in shoddy parenting, you could never really call this a "dad blog," being that I waste way too much bandwidth whining about old record shops, forgotten bands, gentrification and the like. That said, I do have a few comrades who keep far more respectable, proper "dad blogs," and two of my faves have been nominated for The Top 25 Dad Blogs by some nefarious coven called The Circle of Moms.
First up is my friend John's intrepid Stay at Stove Dad, a blog devoted to fearlessly feeding one's family and inspiring the less-culinarily-inclined dads out there (like myself) to overcome our trepidation and ignorance and manfully commandeer mealtime. To this same end, John's also recently penned a book, which you can check out by clicking right here.
The second contender is my friend Nathan's Dadwagon. You may remember (or possibly not) that I guest-blogged for them a little while back. Dadwagon deftly straddles the perilous chasm between the informatively poignant and the venomously snarky. Even if you're not a parent, it makes for entertaining reading.
