Days Off

For this first time in about four years, I'm taking a pair of actual vacation days. I'm not gong anywhere, mind you. In fact, it's rainy, cold and gross outside, and I have a full agenda of banal tasks to wade through -- everything from (hopefully) deferring a spell of jury duty through getting my taxes prepared -- but technically, I'm still on vacation.

So, umm .... huzzah.

The photo above, incidentally, keeps in the Washington Square-centric theme of the past couple of posts, and dates back to 1963, the same year this film was shot.
