Don't look now -- actually, scratch that, do look now -- because Antony Gomley's battalion of strange, silent "jumpers" is starting to disappear. As quietly as it arrived, the Event Horizon installation is slowly leaving Madison Square and its surrounding environs. Several of the static figures have already vanished from their respective rooftops around the square. It had its share of detractors, but I did quite enjoy routinely spotting each of the figures during my walks to work every morning. It'd be fun if he left one or two behind, but I wouldn't put my money on that. Dare I say it, I shall miss them, their mysterious silhouettes and the looks of shock and curiosity they inspired in those who bothered to look up.
