For about a million years, it was a really dingy dry-cleaning place that smelt of mildew and dead animals. Then, it encouragingly turned into an eclectic little gallery/book store that sold giant black n' white prints and used, dog-eyed, coffee-table art books. That promising incarnation didn't last, of course. For the last couple of years, the storefront in question -- on the southeast corner of East 12th street and Fourth Avenue -- has been vacant. And now? Now a new business has moved in.
Is this REALLY what we need?? Another bank??? In this economy???
