Well, it still exists, not at that location anymore (behind the ol' Police building-turned-luxury-condo). Jovino's is now a block away (not sure if it still boasts the pistol signage, though). Last time I walked by, the old location pictured here is now a dress shop.

Fantastic! These pictures really capture an urban poetry that simply doesn't exist in the village anymore.

It would be awesome if you posted all of your pictures from the '80s and early '90s, I love seeing NY from that era.
