Factory Records founder Tony Wilson has died. Non-music heads might recognize him as the man hilariously portrayed by Steve Coogan in "24 Hour Party People" (which is essential viewing, incidentally -- and not just for frothy-mouthed rock historians). Go put on Closer by Joy Division and raise a pint to the visionary that was Tony Wilson.
