We recently launched a MySpace page over at the Job. Every morning, I whip up an entry for that page regarding proceedings at the morning meeting, giving our MySpace friends a quick tease about items they should keep their eyes open for later in the day. Every now and then, I deviate from that. One such occasion was this morning, wherein I used my morning entry to assess the storied arc of New York City's once-fabled East Village as a thriving hotbed of music and culture. It started off as a small idea, but eventually blossomed into a very needlessly wordy post. If you're on MySpace, why not go give it a once-over?
