Great post. I'm ashamed to admit I'm not familiar with most of these tunes. And here I was thinking I was a music aficionado.


Don't the Misfits get some kind of honorary mention for their entire catalogue?

Look, man, no one loves the `Fits more than me, but they were always more sort've campy scary than legitimately scary. I've never rushed to the stereo to turn off a Misfits tune.

For Halloween, it would also make sense to include Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi's Dead" ... or is that too obvious?
also anything off the first Killing Joke album (preferably "The Wait") , and Grimly Fiendish by the Damned, THere - that should do it!
