Ever since Jeremiah started
exhuming the mysteries of Edward Hoppers "Nighthawks," I've been revisiting some of the American realist painter's work. I remember studying him in an art class during my senior year of high school and not exactly being blown off the porch by his stuff (apart from the sizably trivial footnote that
one of his paintings was used as the sleeve art of OMD's
Crush that same year). Years later, however, I'm fascinated by both his signature style and his story, being that he painted much if not most of his more celebrated work right here in my neighborhood.
In any case, here's another of his paintings that I spotted, I believe, on This Isn't Happiness that seems to exude the essence of hot summer days like today. Also, doesn't it kinda look like Colonnade Row a little bit? I'll leave that to the art historians.
Nice dress she has on, I can almost see through it...no, yes I can! Ooh la la...

I am studying this painting for an art project and was wondering if you have any information on it's location?
