I was just out for a walk with my little boy and we found ourselves strolling through Soho. Imagine my surprise and sadness to find that René's signature boast on the southern wall of the Wooster Street parking lot (just south of Houston Street) had been painted over. The NY Earth Room hasn't vanished. Still there, and open late on Thurs this week for Soho Night.
