Here's an idea I basically ripped right off of Bowery Boogie. With the wife & kids out on Long Island, I've been ordering in a lot. Last night, as I was attempting to decide what to get for dinner, I started pulling out the menus from the numerous now-defunct establishments around our neighborhood and setting them to one side. As they've amassed over the years, I keep meaning to throw them away, but my wife likes to hold onto them for some reason (which is odd, being that I'm the more sentimental one). In any case, here are a few of the places that simply won't pick up the phone if I try to place an order for delivery.
nice selection.
that chickpea on st. marks was really good when it first opened.

It looks a lot like my pile, except you have far fewer sushi and Fresh Tortilla menus. What a difference a few blocks make in menus. I didn't know Chickpea closed, didn't it just open a few minutes ago?
