In recent weeks, I logged
a couple of posts that culled together photographs of elements of New York City that had either vanished entirely or that were now virtually unrecognizable. Both of these posts went over quite well, so I decided that yet another round was in order. There probably won't be very many more of these posts, being that scanning my old photographs is somewhat time-consuming, but I've received lots of very positive feedback about the ones I put up, so I figured it might be nice to add a few more. Please enjoy.
When I started these posts, my stipulation was that these were pictures of things that don't exist anymore. That's not so much the case with these photos. In this instance, these are simply pictures of the New York City I knew and loved. This batch is predominantly from the mid to late 90s. Perhaps you'll recognize the images. Perhaps you won't. Either way, please enjoy.
GREAT set.:)
